About us

Cat model is a web-based catastrophe modelling platform. The platform is designed to support the evaluation of the financial impact of India's weather systems on crop yields. The industry focus is on insurance, reinsurance, (re)insurance brokers and other stakeholders with financial interests which rely on crop yields.

Services We Offer

Crop yield prediction with 80-90 % accuracy

On-line access to load exposure profiles
Our clients have online access to load their exposure profiles and model the exposures against the weather parameters in order to evaluate crop yields, identify high-risk areas and express results relative to prior years.
Insurance
The industry focus is on insurance, reinsurance, (re)insurance brokers and other stakeholders with financial interests which rely on crop yields.
Early warning systems
Identification of problem areas and early warning of breaching threshold yield levels at district and sector level
Results in the form of easily interpretable maps
Flake is a web-based interactive map developed in an attempt to make hydrological data easily accessible and understandable to researchers and public.
Continuous data
We provide uninterrupted all-weather services with the help of current and historical satellite imagery. With an accurate analysis of current and historical satellite imagery in the microwave and visible spectrum a range of moisture, solar energy and vegetative indices can be extracted at a granular level at 4 hourly intervals for most locations on Earth, and at a detailed level for the whole of India.
